Disc 3 of the INSANITY workouts is not the most difficult but it’s still quite a challenge. This upper and lower body workout includes periodic water breaks between sets. You will build lean muscle and upper-body definition with strength-training and power moves. (40 minutes)

Cardio Recovery is performed once a week to allow your muscles to recover from the punishing lintensity that you have experienced up to this point in the INSANITY workout. There is no cardio  no jumping or running or anything that would cause your muscles to stress even further. Shaun goes easier on you so you’re ready for the next round. (80 minutes)

If you are following the schedule you should be doing this workout by the end of the second week. You will be doing explosive intervals of cardio and core moves for rock-hard abs. (20 minutes)
