Insanity Workout Overview

Day 20 of the insanity workout program is plyometric cardio circuit.to date this workout has been performed four times on days 2, 6, 10 and 16.

The Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit is a very intense forty minute workout.  Plyometric Cardio Circuit is one of the best fat burning workouts BeachBody has to offer.

This workout is circuit-based interval training, which means that we did  a series of moves back-to-back (a circuit) a couple of times over (the  interval).  He has you do the warmup circuit 3x – ratcheting up the speed each time – then a stretch, 20 minutes of plyometrics and plank work, and then a MUCH needed stretch at the end for about three minutes.

The Insanity Warm Up

The warm up exercises are the standard set, consisting of Jog, Jumping Jacks, Hesimans (leaping from side to side), 123 Heismans (in which you throw in some stutter steps between each high knee), Butt Kicks, High Knees (simply jogging in place and bringing your knees as high as you can) and Mummy Kicks.
