Are you looking for a challenge? Jonathan was and Insanity fit the bill!

Jonathan knew that the Insanity Workout would be tough. He also knew that his results would be determined by the amount of effort he put into each workout.

There were times when Jonathan wanted to give up but that is where Shaun T pushed him to keep going. Breaking through these plateaus is how Insanity got its name.

Jonathan’s results: he gained muscle mass while decreasing his body fat from 19% to 9%.

You may feel that you only need to do the Insanity Workout for 60 days and then go back to your every day routine. That’s how Jonathan felt. What he discovered was that once you complete the Insanity Workout program, you want to continue on to get even greater results.

Shaun T: once you’ve done an Insanity Workout every other workout becomes easy.

Get Insanity WorkoutToday!

These workouts include everything from cardio core balance, to yoga and stretching. Real people have reached great results doing this program and have great stories to tell if you are interested in looking them up on the Internet. I personally am doing the Inanity workout and find it the best form of exercise I have gotten yet!

Shaun T works hard to ensure you pushing yourself as far as possible. He is very inspiring and motivating throughout each workout and very focused on helping you reach your best possible results. Insanity also offers a great flexible diet program to follow to help you reach your weight loss goals. If you are looking for a fast paced, intense workout Insanity is a great fit for you!

INSANITY Asylum Day 18. I did not know that Relief was in fact all stretches and had no warmup. I believed that it was mainly stretching as a result of reading through the information however I thought it might contain a warmup. I strongly recommend that you warmup to get the blood flowing prior to you doing Asylum Relief.

INSANITY Asylum Day 17. Strength. The best way to describe it is that it consists of an hour of compound exercises with relatively high reps.

Strength training can and should be a very important supportive element in any fat loss plan. Resistance training, especially strength training, helps to preserve lean muscle mass while losing fat, making the resultant weight reduction much more healthy and sustainable. However, diet must be the key element and working off a bad diet with weights…will simply not work.

Summary

I love this new workout. I have graduated many rounds of Insanity and needed something different to challenge myself. This workout was the answer!! It is an entire body workout that gets your heart pumping and your muscles burning. When I first started it I thought I was in great shape but I could barely jump rope during the drills. After a month of Asylum I am able to complete the jump rope drills with proper technique and skill. This is definitely a motivating workout that will give you great results if you stay “committed!”

Insanity Asylum Vertical Plyo Workout Overview

Vertical Plyo Jump higher than ever with this lower-body training routine. Workout Length: 40 minutes

INSANITY Asylum Day 16 Vertical Plyo.Vertical Plyo introduces both new moves and twists on previous moves that you never even thought existed. The agility ladder is used here again and you add in stretchy bands on your arms and legs doing plyo pushups, x jumps, moving pushups, long jumps, one legged jump knee tucks and more. Just when you’re hoping to get a drink of water or grab a breath of air, Shaun has you doing the speed rope as a recovery.

One word can describe this work out, “Jump”. Make sure you got some good supportive shoes because there are so many different jumping variations in this workout. You are definitely going to get “vertical”.

Vertical Plyo is extreme and should not be attempted unless you are already in pretty good shape. This is not an exercise for beginners. And don’t even think about stepping on your agility ladder or Shaun makes drop and do 50 push-ups.

Insanity Asylum Review – Day 16 Vertical Plyo. July 6th, 2011. Back to the old habit of not getting sleep before a tough workout like Insanity Asylum… Actually, not a bad habit. In fact, not even purposeful.

I’ve finished the Asylum. Visit www.ncfitclub.net for my final thoughts on the program. Shaun T’s Beachbody Workout, Insanity the Asylum: Day 16 Vertical Plyo. Getting better at some things! It was hard.

Day 16 Insanity Asylum: Vertical Plyo + weigh in and follow up fitness

As you all know I always focus on the scale …. but at the end of the day I am trying to help myself realize that measurements, and other factors need to be taken into account. Thus far I realized today after doing a fitness test at the gym.

Get quick on your feet—fast, with this intense cardio workout.

INSANITY Asylum day 15. Speed & agility drills need to be looked at just about the most critical targets in your own workout. You ought to perform a few drills twice each week and make certain you concentrate on your form. Quality rules not quantity in terms of speed workout routines. You must train your body to get it done the correct way to begin with. Executing the speed and agility drills slowly first is going to let your body get used to the movements. This is extremely important due to the fact if your body are unable to perform it correct slowly then it will not perform it right at full speed, as your body actually starts to learn what muscle movements are expected it is important to increase intensity in those specific speed exercises.

I like the challenge to this program, but I would like to see a bit more stretching included within the workouts, not just a separate video. Also it would be helpful if I could buy the agility ladder separately from Beachbody. My hasband and I work out together, so we need 2 of everything. I was able to buy extra bands and an extra jump rope, but not the ladder. Thanks!

‘ve had great results from both the P90X and now the Asylum Workouts. I run a summer workout program for high schoolers in very small town. I’ve lost 32lbs, I am now 237, goal is 225. Bench press is now 315 and I want to be able to dunk the B-ball next winter…and am 46 yrs. old to boot. The high schoolers athletics have improved considerably with P90X and weights, now adding Asylum we get an awesome new dimension and it’s kicking us well!!!

INSANITY Asylum Day 13.

Between my sister and me, we have purchased probably every product from Beach Body.com. I can honestly say that all videos have given me wonderful results, but Asylum is on another level. The workout focuses on different muscles every day, allowing the body and muscles to achieve the most benefit they can. I truly enjoy taking myself to the limit; the results are remarkable both physically and mentally! It is an AMAZING workout and Shaun T is the best motivator. I strongly recommend this and all Beach Body products as I know firsthand which one gives the best results. I can’t wait for the next workout following Asylum!!! ? Shaun T can’t stop here!

Build the rock-solid core, glutes, and hamstrings you’ll need to get the explosive strength of elite athletes. Workout Length: 45 minutes

INSANITY Asylum Day 12. OK 1st issue is Insanity Asylum Back to Core is much more related to shoulders and back as opposed to core. 2nd issue is basically that you must enjoy jumping jacks to the N’th degree or don’t even think about trying to get INSANITY Asylum. The 3rd issue is this exercise routine is much more about muscular stamina than any sort of plyometric / fast twitch muscle fiber kind of workout. If you are the muscle builder type without muscle endurance, go pound cement. This is about controlled, purposeful movements pushed to the maximum.

Summary

Insanity: The Asylum

Love it. All the intensity of insanity just with different moves. I love all the new workouts. Like the back to core video. Just spending a whople video working on your posterior is excellent. And plyo. One of the toughest workouts I’ve ever done. Oh man my legs were burning.

But with Shuan T there motivating me along with the other people there giving it there all it was worth the burn. But the best of all is gameday. I get myself syked up for that workout every sunday morning, although I have yet to throw in the overtime with it. All the workouts are great. I know Asylum just came out. But please keep coming out with more in the future for all the die hards out there. I am truly in the best shape of my life because of these products. ANd only getting better.

INSANITY Asylum Day 11. Gameday Work out is definitely the end result of all other Asylum workout routines you performed during the entire week. Speed and Agility, Strength, Vertical Plyo, Back to Core are all practice workouts to ready you for Game Day. I realize I’ve stated that various other Asylum workout routines are exciting, but Gameday is without a doubt a blast. It’s very tough but this specific design of sports specific training is really entertaining. You’ll enjoy Game Day.

June 12, 2011 | hawaiigirl | from Maui, HI

Insanity Asylum was very challenging…some DVD’s more than the others. It was fun and a lot of hard work! The jumping rope was hard, I am not super coordinated so that was not easy at all! I started without a rope for awhile. The ladder made things much harder too. I loved it! It was crazy and sweaty and a great workout!

This is an intense workout.
June 13, 2011 | trishhy | from Peru, Indiana

I already was a Shaun T fan and Insanity:The Asylum did not let me down. There were new moves and it was even more intense than the first series. I love it and love to challenge myself. If possible, Shaun T looks even more fit. I traveled for three weeks and it was easy to pack this and use it in hotel rooms.
